
Talvikki Eerola
Talvikki Eerola comes from Helsinki and has wide experience of the performing arts as an actress, musician, dancer and performance artist, and of film and TV productions. She obtained a Master’s degree in theatre and drama, specialising in acting, from the University of Tampere in 2021, having graduated in performing arts from the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in 2012. She also works in applied theatre projects.
From 2012 onwards, Eerola has appeared in productions of the Reality Research Center arts collective and toured with them, performing not only at theatres but also in urban environments, care facilities, day centres for the homeless and replacement therapy units, at festivals and in forests.
Eerola has worked as an actress at the Kajaani City Theatre, toured with productions around Finland and abroad, been a clown at refugee camps with Clowns Without Borders and composed music for theatre performances and ensembles as a pianist and vocalist. She is at present working with a group doing physical theatre and Peking opera, the Wusheng Company and Matchbox Company.
