Aine Suzuki

A Japanese violist Aine Suzuki was born in Tokyo in 1984. She worked as a Co-Principal Viola in Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana Palau de Les Arts where she performed with world famous conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly and Valery Gergiev. Currently she has taken a place as a Principal Viola in  Norwegian National Opera in Oslo. 

Aine is also actively working as a professor in various places. She is a professor of the Master Program in Valencia International University and the season of 2015-2016, she worked as an assistant professor of Nobuko Imai in Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia in Madrid. Since 2011, she is teaching and performing at Chamber Music Festival in Godella directed by Joan Lluna. 

In june 2011, She received a prize from Her Majesty the Queen Sofia the mention as the best student of her chair. She also is a prizewinner of various international competitions such as First Prize and Leo Weiner special Prize in the International Weiner Leo Music Competition in Hungary, 1st prize in Premio Francesco Geminiani in Verona where she was awarded a viola by Celestino Farotto and performed a concerto with I Virtuosi Italiani, Joan Weller Prize and Lucy Ann Jones award in the Royal College on Music in London and Jury’s Special Prize in the All Japan Music Competition.
