Tuomas Ahva

Tuomas Ahva is a Helsinki musician and sound designer operating on the interface of technology and art. Synthetic and manipulated sound sources, electronic rhythms, processed singing voice and various sound worlds join hands in his music.

Tuomas obtained an MA in Sound in New Media in 2016 and is nowadays a freelancer dealing with music and sound. He mainly works with computers equipped with a touch screen; this permits the composition and performance of all kinds of electronic music.

Tuomas also plays in the Haruspex duo that performed at Musica nova Helsinki in 2019, and he has his own podcast interviewing and inspiring other music makers.
